Current research area:  Mexican American cancer caregiving experience; spirituality with cancer caregiving; influence of family on health promotion of diverse women; ethical issues and cultural issues related to client care.

Other research interests: Health promotion of ethnically diverse women; influence of work on health; qualitative and triangulation approaches to research methodology; ethical approaches to teaching and to delivery of health care.
